Kota Kinabalu: A total of 24 graduates who have been selected to undergo the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Fellowship programme, received letters of appointment from Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor Wednesday.

Hajiji presented the letters in an event held at Menara Kinabalu, which was also attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan and Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam, as well as State Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ellron Alfred Angin.

Hajiji, in a statement issued later, said the 24 participants were the first group of graduates who were selected to receive mentoring and hands-on learning for a duration of six months at 12 ministries in the State.

“It is the initiative of the Sabah Youth and Sports Ministry which will be implemented under the State Youth Leadership Incubator (IKEBS) programme.
