Kota Kinabalu: An aspiring Filipino Senator acknowledged, Wednesday, that much as Filipinos believe Sabah belonged to the republic, an amendment to the Philippine Constitution in 1987 may not see this becoming a reality.House of Congress deputy Speaker Cong. Rodante Marcoleta said the Philippine Constitution of 1987 removed “our historical right from the territorial provision”.
