Kota Kinabalu: At the launch event of Blu Hope’s Sabah Plastic Neutral at the Sabah International Convention Centre on Feb 16, every attendee was provided with a take home door gift of Malaysia’s ADA Biotech drinking straws made from 100 per cent food ingredients – rice and tapioca, certified halal.This is significant as plastic drinking straw pollution is growing as many recyclers refuse to accept such plastic size, and a lot of fast food outlets are doing away with providing free plastic drinking straws, as Sir David Attenborough said:
