The honour was made in  conjunction with the recent International Women's Day and the Sarawakian, a chef at a European contemporary restaurant in Thailand called Mia, was among 17 in the region to receive the honours.

Goh and her signature dish "Cereal Bowl" were featured on Michelin Guide's website.

“I wanted to take those flavours and make a dessert and realised that all those ingredients are typically things that we have for breakfast, so I decided to make an equivalent of cereal bowl,” she told Michelin Guide.

Her sister's favourite dessert had inspired the dish, which was shaved ice topped with Milo, condensed milk and corn, Goh revealed.
