Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Under-21 football squad registered their first win of the President Cup season with a 4-2 victory over Kuala Lumpur City FC at UM Arena on Thursday.

Two goals each from Yuseril Yusikil and Nazemizan Naslon saw them upset the hosts who were at the top of the table standing in Group C before the match.

With the victory Sabah, who only managed one point in the opening two matches after losing the season opener 0-4 to Seri Pahang at home before the 1-1 away draw with Sarawak United, climbed up to fourth in the standings.

Their next match is against Kuching FC at Likas Stadium on March 24 at 4.15pm.
