Kota Kinabalu: The remaining 19 work packages under Phase One of the Pan Borneo Highway project have recently been approved by the Federal Government, said Works Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin. 

He said the 19 packages span a total of 367KM and are expected to complete within five years.

The Deputy Chief Minister added that the construction progress for the first 15 packages under Phase One is on schedule.

“These 15 packages are expected to complete in stages, starting with the four packages that are scheduled to complete this year, which are the WP5, WP15, WP21 and WP27 packages,” he said at the State legislative assembly sitting, here, Monday.
