Best man for the job is a woman: Robredo
MANILA: Presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo (pic) said the best man for the job at stake in the May 9 presidential election is a woman.

In the first “PiliPinas Debates 2022” hosted by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Saturday, Robredo also urged the voters not to vote for candidates who are not willing to face fellow aspirants in a debate.

“True leader show up and man up that’s why this coming May the best man for the job is a woman,” she said during the event held at the Sofitel Hotel tent in Pasay City.

Robredo, a lone woman candidate in the presidential race on May 9, said the president should always be there when the people are in trouble and willing to sacrifice and fight for the country.
