Woman hurt in Keningau mishap

KENINGAU: A woman was injured when the Perodua Axia she was driving skidded on the shoulder of the road at Kampung Bariawa Laut, Sunday evening.

The District Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 6.13pm and rushed to the scene 10km away with 15 members led by the Operations Officer, Razaain Awang Damit.

Keningau Zone 4 Fire and Rescue Department Chief, Yuszaimi Hairrul Azwan Juatan said the woman was sent to the Keningau Hospital by members of the public before the arrival of firemen.

He said the fire brigade carried out inspection around the location to ensure that there were no other dangers other than checking the vehicle that skidded.
