THE State Assembly on Thursday passed the Local Government (Amendment) Enactment Bill 2022 to strengthen and improve the source of legal authority related to local authorities in Sabah as frontline agencies dealing directly with the peopleSpeaker Datuk Kadzim M Yahya announced the passing of the Bill, to be effective on April 18, 2022.
