Kota Kinabalu: Women’s participation in economics and politics is still low and worrying, said State Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk Ir. Shahelmey Yahya.

He said women’s participation in employment is at 55.6 per cent compared to men at 80.8 per cent, based on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s speech at the International Women’s Day celebration on March 8.
