Sabah’s cases rise to 313 as sporadic infections up
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s cases rose to 313 on Wednesday from 251 the day earlier as sporadic infections jumped to 64.22 per cent, said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.“This means Covid-19 transmissions within the community are increasing. Once again the public are reminded to abide by all standard operating procedures (SOPs), especially in congested areas,” he said, Wednesday.

Masidi said the rise in cases is also due to a higher number of districts recording increased cases.
“A total of 14 districts recorded a rise, topped by Kota Kinabalu (104) which recorded an increase of 40 cases. Decreases in certain districts were only marginal. Telupid, Tongod and Nabawan did not record any new cases,” he added.
