Local firms now handling RM700m submarine work

Kota Kinabalu: Boustead DCNS Naval Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (BDNC) held its seventh Transfer of Know-How (TOKH) Graduation Ceremony, Tuesday, which involved in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of the Prime Minister’s Class Scorpene submarine fleet of the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN).

The graduating batch consisted 61 BDNC associates and include, for the first time, personnel from outside BDNC, namely 24 from RMN and four from the Science & Technology Research Institute for Defence (Stride).
