TAWAU: Sabah expects to receive 1.5 million visitors a year, with the opening of borders on Friday, said Sabah Immigration Department (JIM) Director Sh. Sitti Saleha Habib Yussof.

She said the figure is based on visitor entry data from the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA), which recorded one million visitors a year prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.
