SIPITANG: A teacher was scammed of RM254,600 by individuals posing as officials from the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and police – despite police advising the public never to entertain calls requiring them to disclose their personal and banking details.The teacher lodged report at 12.42pm on March 31 claiming to have received a call from an unknown number between March 14 and March 16 at 2pm while at a secondary school here, according to District Police Chief Champin Piuh.
