TAWAU: The Sabah Government will pay a RM500 bonus to state servants at grade 54 and below in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Kaamatan Festival.

Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor said the bonus will be paid before Raya. 

Hajiji announced the matter during a ceremony to hand over a RM500-cash aid for 608 household heads whose homes were destroyed by fire at Kg Kurnia Jaya in Tawau on March 17.

A total of 200 household heads received the aid directly while the rest will get theirs through the Community Development Leader's Unit and Community Welfare Department.
