Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (Mardi) has produced 12,000 local trainees to date.Agriculture and Food Industries Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee said Mardi had provided various trainings, short and medium term courses as well as ‘In Kind’ assistance to local entrepreneurs to ensure the enhanced growth of Sabah’s local food-based agro-food industry.
