Kota Kinabalu: A man died of electrocution in Kg Numbak, here, today, said the Fire and Rescue Department.

The man, 37, was confirmed dead at the scene at Jalan Yayasan Tebagu by a medical officer.

The department, which received an alert about the incident at 7.03am, arrived at the scene and cut a power connection to secure the area.

The man's body was handed over to the police for further action.
