LABUAN: The Labuan Corporation and the office of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs here have set-up a joint interim committee to overcome problems related to the supply of essential food items during Ramadan.The committee is headed by LC Chairman Dato Seri Amir Hussien.
He said: “Labuan, being an island state, depended heavily on goods shipped from the mainland. We do not want local consumers to be burdened or troubled by shortages or increased prices.
