RM4.2b plant ready next year

Kota Kinabalu: A South Korean company, SK Nexilis, has brought in RM4.2 billion investment to currently constructing a copper foil plant here that is expected to be completed nexr year.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor said the company which is a copper foil manufacturer for electric vehicle (EV) batteries, is constructing the plant on a 100-acre area in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) in Sepanggar, near here.
