I met my Indian friend stealthily in his house after his release. He asked me if I would like to hear what happened to him in the Jap Prisons. It was too much for me to hear his sufferings in the cell. I could not bear what he said. Rather I did not want to know, nor I wanted to see when he asked me to see the effect on certain parts of his body. I couldunderstand.
