PAPAR: A motorcyclist died after his machine skidded and crashed into a drain along Jalan Kuari Bukit Manggis, here, Sunday.

Acting District Police Chief ASP Rosli Rasi said the midnight incident took place when the victim lost control of his Yamaha MT-15 while heading towards Keningau from Papar town.

“He died on the spot after crashing into the drain on the left side of the road,” said Rosli.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
