Kota Kinabalu: Property developer in Peninsula Malaysia are benefitting from the increasing number of Sabahans studying and pursuing careers there, including settling down.In some cases, parents have started the reverse migration trend from East Malaysia to West Malaysia to be closer with their children, some look after their pre-schooling grandchildren at home, while their parents pursue their busy occupations.
Some senior citizens have also sold their Sabah homes to move to West Malaysia to enjoy their twilight years among their only adult working child or children there.
While others have invested or bought another property in West Malaysia from the sale of their Sabah homes or lands.
