Kota Kinabalu: Twenty-eight elective surgeries were postponed after the closure of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital's operation theatre here today and tomorrow following power failure that started yesterday.

Sabah Health Director Datuk Dr Rose Nani Mudin, in a statement today, said the closure was to ensure sufficient and stable power to wards and intensive care units.
