Sabah Immigration debunk claims asking for payment for 'KDN entry permits'

Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Immigration Department have debunked claims that they issued letters asking for payment for "entry permits" supposedly provided by "KDN" or the Home Ministry.

The department's director, Sh Sitti Saleha Habib Yussof, in a statement today, said they had received a complaint on the matter.

"After scrutiny, the Sabah Immigration Department found all those documents were false and were never issued by the Sabah Immigration office," she said.

"The department advised the public not to be duped by document forgery syndicates and to deal directly with the nearest Immigration office…"
