SEMPORNA: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) here seized 380 cartons of contraband cigarettes from four speedboats in the waters of Pulau Larapan around 5.30am, Tuesday.

Semporna Maritime Zone Director, Commander Norrimi Hassan, believes that the  speedboats attempted to smuggle in the cigarettes but fled after noticing the presence of enforcement officers.
