Yayasan Petronas distributed food aid and hygiene kits to 100 recipients from B40 families in Kinabatangan under its annual Sentuhan Kasih programme in conjunction with Aidilfitri. Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, who is Kinabatangan Member of Parliament, handed over the contribution to the recipients at the District Office accompanied by Yayasan Petronas Chief Executive Officer Shariah Nelly Francis and Sabah State Welfare Services Department Director Jais Asri.
Among the contributions included rice, cooking oil, sugar, flour and festive cookies. The beneficiaries also received Covid-19 RTK test kits, hand sanitisers, sanitising wet wipes and face masks.
Yayasan Petronas also donated adjustable beds to three beneficiaries in Lamag, here, in support of the state government’s Homeward Programme – one of the state government’s flagship initiatives that aims to provide support for the elderly as well as people with disability and the chronically ill in their home environment. Under the Homeward Programme, Yayasan Petronas is contributing a total of 150 adjustable beds and 13 oxygen concentrators worth RM611,000 to beneficiaries identified by the Sabah Social Welfare Services Department across the State.
