ROAD users, particularly in Kudat, are advised to plan their journey and follow all traffic rules when returning to the village to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri. “OpSelamat 18 was launched not only to ensure the safety and comfort of road users, but also to ensure the safety of property left by the community who return to the village for Hari Raya,” said OCP Supt Mohd Firdaus Francis Abdullah.“Drivers are advised to prioritise not only safety but also personal and mental health. For example, rather than racing to your destination, drive cautiously to ensure everyone’s safety and avoid the risk of an accident,” he said at the launch of Op Selamat 18/2022 in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri at KM4.5 Jalan Kudat/Kota Kinabalu, Friday.
