KENINGAU: A total of 2,022 trees of various types were planted by Lions Club International District 308-A2 in conjunction with Earth Day which was celebrated around the world on April 22.District Officer Walter Kenson, who officiated the programme at Duo Keningau, described the effort as raising awareness on the importance of caring for and conserving the environment.
