KOTA KINABALU: Sabah witnessed another slight increase in the number of new Covid-19 cases with 26 cases today, according to the State’s daily update.

“No new infections were reported in 19 districts,” said the statement.

“It has been projected that there will be an increase in the number of new cases due to the Aidilfitri and Kaamatan celebrations during this month.

“Although it is still too early to make an assessment, but so far, the increase is at a small and controlled rate.”

Some 23 new cases were in Category 1 and Category 2, while two cases in Category 3 and a case in in Category 4.
