Keningau’s potential in agriculture and eco-tourism

KENINGAU: Keningau has great potential in the field of agriculture, eco-tourism and industry based on local resources found in the district, said District Officer Walter Kenson.

He said under Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ), the Kaamatan Festival can be used as a platform to boost the district’s economy.

“Apart from that, to maintaining green sustainability to ensure the well-being of the people in a sustainable manner,” he said at the launch of the State-Level Kaamatan Festival officiated by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor at the Sabah Handicraft Centre, here, recently.
