Kota Kinabalu: Sabah are represented by 55 shuttlers at the 100Plus Junior Elite Tour (1st circuit), which started on Wednesday at the Perlis Badminton Hall in Kangar.

Sabah Badminton Association President Janih Bangud in a statement issued on Wednesday said that they will be participating in both boys’ and girls’ Under-12, 14 and 16 categories.

“We hope the players will give their very best to bring glory to the State and at the same time, team manager Alfonso Fiel has been tasked to ensure that all the players will always adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) so that their health will not be compromised that may affect their performance,” he said.

Meanwhile, Janih, who has been appointed as Malaysia Badminton Team Manager at the Hanoi SEA Games in Vietnam, also thanked Flypower and WKW Eramaju Sdn Bhd for their sponsorship to the State team.
