TAWAU: A suspected drug addict was arrested with 5.14gm of syabu after a scuffle in the Batu Payung area, here, on Monday

Tawau District Police Chief ACP Jasmin Hussin the 35-year-old local was detained at 11.15pm

“The suspect attempted to flee when he realised the presence of police but was arrested after putting up a struggle.

“The team later recovered from him a transparent plastic packet containing suspected syabu weighing 5.14gm,” he said.
