Man nabbed with RM360k syabu in Tuaran

Kota Kinabalu: Police arrested a man with 10.4kg of suspected syabu worth RM360,000 at Taman Sri Rugading in Tuaran on May 8.

The arrest came after police conducted inspections on his Toyota Prado car, which led to the finding of the substance in the car boot at about 10pm.

“The arrest shows that drug trafficking is still going on,” State Deputy Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun said during a media conference, here, Thursday.

Despite having no prior convictions, the man tested positive for drugs.
