SANDAKAN: Two more vessels will be deployed to the Royal Malaysian Navy’s Marine Region 2 Headquarters (Mawilla 2) in July.
After completing training and skills testing, Mawilla 2 Commander Rear Admiral Datuk Roslan Mohd Yunus said the vessels – “KD Sri Sabah” and “KD Sri Sarawak” – would begin operations in September.

“With the extra assets, Mawilla 2 will have a total of 13 vessels,” he said, adding the two additional vessels will arrive with their crew and families who will work and stay in the area.
