NABAWAN: The Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB) took early measures to overcome the difficulties experienced by the residents of Mukim Tatalaan who were affected by the recent flash floods.

Its Chairman, Datuk Abdul Ghani Yassin (inset), said the early effort was to build a temporary river bridge and provide other alternative roads to enable SLDB participants, villagers, civil servants, teachers and students from Kampung Lumiri, Kampung Pangaraan to Kampung Pohon Batu to use this road to Keningau or Nabawan towns.
“From SLDB, we have made an initiative to help restore or provide alternative roads for the villagers, especially those far away, from Pohon Batu to Pangaraan.
