Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Environment Action Group (SEAG) alleged that a company involved in recycling spent bleaching earth from palm refineries in Palm Oil Industrial Cluster (POIC) Lahad Datu is again receiving palm oil waste from Indonesia as the raw material for their processing plant.

SEAG said the Federal Department of Environment (DOE), State Environment Protection Department (EPD), State Ministry of Local Government & Housing, Lahad Datu Council and Palm Oil Industrial Cluster (POIC) “for more than four years have been trying to solve this issue and stop their practice of polluting Sabah”.
