Kota Kinabalu: Aside from recycling programmes, the government is urged to initiate collaborative upcycling programmes involving communities to further emphasise the initiative that would benefit various layers of the community in Sabah.

Kapayan Assemblywoman Jannie Lasimbang said that collaboration in such programme would contribute in hastening the implementation of the recently adopted solid waste management enactment that would positively affect the people’s wellbeing.
