Plea not to leave Native lands idle

RANAU: The people have been urged to work in their land to boost food security in line with this year’s Harvest Festival theme “Kaamatan Monunduan Do Winorun” (Kaamatan Ensouls Nature).

State Minister of Local Government and Housing, Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Masidi bin Manjun said they should cultivate their lands, at least to provide them basic necessities.

“While facing the current economic situation, there is a need for us to change our ways of life. What we are able to produce on our own we should do it. I know some have forgotten the old ways of living, but these are not ordinary days.
