Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's new Covid-19 cases increased slightly to 48 today according to an update shared by the spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun. 

Today's number was five more than yesterday's as Kota Kinabalu remained as the only district with double-digit new cases.

Seventeen districts reported no fresh infections while nine registered single-digit new cases, five of these only one new case each.

Forty-six of today's new cases were asymptomatic or light infections while the remaining two were in the ICU and under ventilation.
