Kota Kinabalu: Apart from looking at opening a new route to Tawi-Tawi, the low-cost airline AirAsia Philippines is also eyeing a direct flight from the province to neighbouring Sabah.Air-Asia spokesperson Captain Steve Dailisan said talks are underway between the airline and officials of the province on the new route.
Steve said the opening of the route is part of Air-Asia’s expansion programme designed to further boost the economy not only of the province but also in Zamboanga City.
