SANDAKAN: The Gabungan NGO Sabah will continue to open more branches in the district in an effort to help the people from various aspects including welfare and economic development.
Its Chairman, Datuk Fadli Fathullah said they are currently intensifying activities for forming and opening new branches in every village in the district.
“The branches in each of these villages will be absorbed into the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) led by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
“Presently, we have 72 branches in five Sandakan zones and we will open many more branches so that it is easier for us to help the community, including from all aspects of welfare and economy,” he said when met at the Gabungan NGO Sabah launching and opening of its office here Tuesday.
Fadli said the coalition would support the leadership of the GRS which they believed was able to bring change and better economic impact to the people of Sabah.
“The Gabungan NGO Sabah has recorded more than 150 NGOs involved in developing the people of Sabah through their cooperation as well as strong support to the Government and also GRS to continue to govern the State,” he said.
Happy with the response received by the Gabungan NGO Sabah, Fadli said this platform has the support of Pitas Assemblyman Ruddy Awah who provided cooperation and advice on people’s welfare.
