Kota Kinabalu: More than 35 crates of e-waste were collected during the Sabah Computer Society’s (SCS) first e-waste collection exercise for this year at the Damai Community Centre here over the week-end recently.

Organising Chairman of the SCS E-waste Collection Project, Walter Cheng, attributed the encouraging outcome to good coordination from the Society’s regular partners, namely the Department of Environment (DOE), Sabah, Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) and NCT Forwarding and Shipping Sdn Bhd.

“We also give credit to the Sabah Credit Corporation (SCC) which has once again funded this e-waste collection project under their corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.
