Kota Kinabalu still tops with 19 of 55 cases
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 caseload rose to 55 on Saturday from 51 the day earlier, while no deaths or new clusters were identified.Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said despite the increase, the State’s Covid-19 situation is still under control.

“The rise and fall of infections in all districts is stable and occurs on a small scale, except for Sandakan (+8) and Kota Kinabalu (-7),” he said in a statement, Saturday.
Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 19 cases, followed by Penampang (12), Sandakan (9), Sipitang (5) and Tuaran (3).

“Nine districts recorded single-digit figures, of which five recorded only one infection. Sixteen districts did not record any new infections in the previous 24 hours,” he said. Masidi said 54 out of 55 cases were recorded in category one and two, while one case in category three. Sixty-two per cent were sporadic infections.

On Sabah’s immunisation programme, 1,070 individuals took their vaccines on June 3, of which 201 were adults, 64 teenagers and 805 children.
