KOTA KINABALU: Warisan’s Kukusan assemblywoman Rina Jainal has quit the party to join Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (Harapan Rakyat), Sunday.
Rina won the seat with 2,834 votes (a majority of 10 votes), defeating Chaya Sulaiman from Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 16th State Election.
Harapan Rakyat President Tan Sri Liew Yun Fah was present to accept Rina’s application to join the pro-GRS-BN Government party, here, Sunday.
