Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 67 new Covid-19 cases Thursday, a marginal increase from 65 the day earlier, while no deaths or new clusters were identified, said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.“Penampang became the top contributor to the State’s caseload with 19 cases, an increase of 15 from the day earlier.
“Kota Kinabalu also recorded an increase of four cases with 28. Sandakan’s cases, however, decreased by 15 from the day earlier by recording zero infections,” he said. He said overall, seven districts recorded a decrease compared to five that recorded an increase.
“Ten districts recorded single-digit figures, while 17 districts did not record any new infections,” he added. Masidi said all 67 cases were category one and two infections, of which 61 per cent were sporadic.
