Family home razed in Likas

Kota Kinabalu: A family of six escaped unscathed when fire razed their two-storey house at Kg Likas, here, Thursday.

The fire is believed to have happened at about 9.20am.

“My 66-year-old mother was home with my children when the fire broke out on the upper level of our house,” said house owner.  She said they have lived in the six-bedroom house since the 1970s.
“My mother and children escaped the flames after noticing smoke coming from the upper floor,” she said.
