Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan Deputy President Datuk Darell Leiking hopes the Prime Minister will reconsider having a Special Sitting and make the Anti-Hop Law exclusive from the coming Parliament’s scheduled sitting.“It is unfortunate that the Prime Minster as a Member of the Parliamentary Special Select Committee (PSSC) on Anti Hop Law has not exercised his powers under the Standing Orders to set a date of a special sitting to pass the Anti Hop Law as the matter is of great Public Interest.
“In fact, the PSSC under the chairmanship of Dato Sri Wan Junaidi had completed its task and were eager to have the special sitting for the first week of July 2022 to table, debate and vote on the Anti Hop Bill,” said the Penampang MP in a statement, here, Thursday.
