Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Sabah and Labuan seized a local fishing boat for violating the licence conditions in waters off Pulau Gaya on Friday.Its Maritime Director First Maritime Admiral Datuk Mohd Rosli bin Abdullah said the vessel was detained by KM Bistari at about 8.2 nautical miles northeast off Pulau Gaya after it was found to have been operating with crews than the allowed capacity which is only 12 as well as violating the licence conditions of the Sabah Fisheries Department.
