Pregnant woman who allegedly tries to commit suicide by jumping into river rescued in Keningau

Kota Kinabalu: A pregnant woman who alleged tried to commit suicide by jumping into a river in Keningau was rescued today.

The 45-year-old woman was found 1.2km from the spot where she allegedly jumped into the river in Kg Ansip, said the Fire and Rescue Department in an update.

The department had dispatched a search-and-rescue team after receiving an alert at 8.14am.

The rescuers rendered on-site treatment before handing her over to the police for their further action
