Sabah’s cases rise to 72
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s daily Covid-19 cases continued to rise on Monday with 72 reported, bringing the State’s tally to 327,818, said Sabah Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.

“The main contributor to Monday’s infections is Kota Kinabalu’s 38 cases,” he said in his daily update, Monday.

Only 14 districts did not record any new cases within the past 24 hours.

Masidi also said Monday’s positive cases were detected from 2,189 test samples, compared to 58 new cases on Sunday from 2,028 samples.

Some 69 new cases on Monday were in Categories 1 and 2, while another three were in Category 4. Most of the new cases were detected through symptomatic screenings with 50 cases, followed by contact screenings (14) and other screenings (eight).

The State also recorded 42 recoveries – cumulatively 365,915.
